I wrote a film. It still feels a bit weird to say that, and I don’t always tell people (yet here I am, shamelessly plastering it on my website).

I wrote it years ago – coming home from my agency job to a box room in a shared house, and firing up Final Draft late into the night.

Naturally, it took bloody ages. But it was surreal and wonderful to see it finally get made. And even more surreal to open the Culture page of The Guardian one day and see it headlining there. Since then, it’s picked up a few awards at various global festivals.

If you like 90s nostalgia and general spookiness, it might be one for your watchlist.
